For someone who had little to say about her pregnancy, Minnie Driver is certainly opening up these days. She won't reveal the name of the baby's father and she has no plans on finding out the baby's sex before the big day, but she has a lot to say about the rest of parenting.

The actress recently revealed she has no real plans to stay with the baby's father and is seriously considering single motherhood. Now she admits she is prepared to be a "chubby" mother as well. As opposed to other Hollywood starlets who look like they were never pregnant to begin with (Keri Russell, I'm talking to YOU) or those who hit the gym moments after they shed the placenta and worked out frantically to reduce their size, Minnie has no plans to do anything other than be a mommy! Take that, Kate Hudson! (Hudson gained seventy pounds with son Ryder.)

Driver says to plan on seeing her around Malibu, and to plan on seeing her fat. As most of us realistic gals know, it takes a year to put it on, and heaven knows it can take at least a year to take it back off--if we ever do. Nice to hear someone from tinsel town taking a breath of reality! I doubt Minnie will stay 'chubby' as she likes to call it, given that she gained a ton of weight for her breakout role in Circle of Friends and lost all of it, but only time will tell. I just wish someone would advise Minnie she doesn't look fat now that she's pregnant--she looks fantastic!

Lots of flowy summer tops couldn't hide what the media was desperate to know: Would Jennifer Garner become a mommy a second time? Well, after months of such tops and much speculation, Violet's mom has finally come clean.

The star of television's Alias series and husband actor Ben Affleck are expecting their second child. According to reports, Garner is five months along. The news, as usual, came from a surprising source. Rather than being from Jen's own mouth, it came from Victor Garber, Garner's Alias costar who also presided over her wedding to Affleck.

No word yet on whether the new bundle to be is a girl or a boy. Heck, with the way things are going these days it could very well be twins on the way! Congratulations to the expectant couple!

Minnie Driver may want to give Bridget Moynahan a call. Ms. Moynahan has experience in something Minnie thinks she may be taking on pretty soon: single motherhood. The actress, who is expecting any day now, says she isn't certain whether or not she'll stay with the baby's father and is considering single motherhood as a definite option. Minnie has even set the stage for the possibility of a man-free world by surrounding herself with family and friends to help rear the baby.

According to the actress she'll have her mother, aunt and best friends to support her. Minnie has still refused to let on who the father of the baby is. She is also quoted as saying it's great to be independent in that way--and she certainly already has a leg up on that by denying the Hollywood gossip rags info on the baby daddy! Way to go, Minnie!

Minnie has also stated she'll probably go for a regular old baby name instead of some type of fruit, a day of the week or something that belongs on a space station. We'll see about that--she's resisted telling us the baby's daddy, the sex and now she wants a normal name? Who is this person who does whatever she wants? Independent indeed!

As yet another bitter celebrity divorce gets under way, interesting details about Cynthia Rodriguez's time while she was pregnant have been revealed. Cynthia, or C-Rod as she is now being called by the press, wife of Yankee's baseball star Alex Rodriguez (who is known as A-Rod, hence her nickname), recently stated she flew in the last trimester of her pregnancy to be with her husband on opening day.

Many doctors prefer women not fly in the third trimester of pregnancy for safety and health concerns. In fact, current wisdom holds a woman (at least in the U.S.) should not travel by air after her seventh month of pregnancy. C-Rod apparently flew in her ninth month. Her daughter was born less than a month after the flight.

What do you think? Is it a lot of poppy cosh that women shouldn't fly in the last trimester of pregnancy or is there something to it? C-Rod seemed to do fine and so did her daughter. I personally wouldn't want to fly while that pregnant. Heaven forbid you go into labor while you're in the air! Not to mention those seats are WAY too small for bulging pregnancy bellies. And if you have a craving? Well, if that's not the in-flight snack you're out of luck.

Actress Minnie Driver is refusing to play the Hollywood game with her pregnancy. Unlike some stars, who finally give in the the pressure of the media, Driver is refusing to comment on the sex of her baby. She's also sticking to her guns and not revealing who the baby daddy is.

Naturally media tongues are wagging with rumor, but Minnie will not satisfy them. The actress, who is set to give birth any minute now, doesn't know the sex of the baby, which makes it easier to keep that item a secret. Apparently the suspense is killing her, too (although she seems to think the baby is a girl)!

Driver also revealed she has no plans for a C-section, stating she isn't "looking for any type of intervention." Good luck, Minnie! Time will certainly tell what the sex of the child is, but who knows if we're ever going to find out who the daddy is. Who knows--maybe she'll keep it up and the answer to that will be one of life's great unresolved mysteries.

It's the moment the entire world seems to have been waiting for. New York's Daily News is reporting that actress Angelina Jolie has finally given birth to twins. Perez Hilton, among others for those of you counting, is reporting the same thing. Papa Brad Pitt was there for the birth, and docs are reporting the mommy and babies are doing "marvelously."

The babies, a boy and a girl, were welcomed into the world Saturday night in Nice, France. Reports are that the names of the new babes are Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline (Marcheline Bertrand was the name of Jolie's recently deceased mother). Each weighed in around 5 pounds. If reports are accurate, the babies were delivered via C-section for medical reasons.

Congratulations to the happy couple. And, congrats to Ange. If the rumors are true, she was ready to get those babies out of there! The next question on everyone's mind, of course, is when we'll get a first glimpse of those beautiful babies!!!

The French seem like they're right up their with Americans in the Angelina Jolie pregnancy fervor. And rightly so--this is the most publicity France has received in a long time! Plus it helps us forget about that whole 'Freedom Fries' thing.

According to French reports, the Oscar-winning actress is set to give birth to her twins next Tuesday. If the source is to be trusted, Ange is mega-pregnant, tired of the hospital food and just wants those babies OUT OF THERE. I know how that feels--you recall the final stages of your pregnancy, yes? Happy to be with child, ready to experience the miracle of life...ready to get your body back!

Apparently Jolie is keen to give birth asap, but the medical staff feel it would be better to induce her on Tuesday. She wanted to go forward on Monday, but that's Bastille Day! Normally, in New York City anyway, inductions are all done on a Friday. Not sure why that is but it does give the new mom (and her family) the weekend to recover. I still think she's going to have a C-section like so many other Hollywood stars, that she's not reached the end of her last trimester--all in order to avoid losing her A-list body! Only time will tell--or, at least, Tuesday will.

It's always surprised me that Angelina Jolie sells her babies' pictures. She seems to be above that, you know? But what I figure is that she knows there are going to be a zillion crazy people with cameras surrounding her anyway, snapping pictures of her kids, so why not make a buck off it?

A buck, or 16 million of them, that is. That's the rumor anyway, and TMZ is also saying that the Jolie-Pitts won't be selling the twins' first pictures to any magazine that uses the moniker "Brangelina." Apparently, Angelina and Brad can't stand the term.

If the rumor is true (and let's be honest, who really knows?), I can't really blame the couple. If you can earn $16 million just for sitting for a photo shoot, you probably can have pretty much anything you want.

Hottie McHottie Matthew McConaughey can now add daddy to his resume. The Sahara star and his girlfriend, Camila Alves, a Brazilian supermodel, welcomed a bouncing baby boy into the world yesterday. The child is the first for both.

Says McConaughey, who claims to have been by Camila's side throughout the entire event, both are tired and elated. He went on to talk about a child being a miracle of life--my husband said the same thing after I gave birth to our son--and the adventure he and Camila are embarking on in raising the new baby.

The child, unnamed as of press time, weighed in at seven pounds, four ounces. Regardless of what they name him, their new bundle of joy should be gorgeous! The pregnancy was revealed by Mateo in January of this year--doesn't it seem a little early for the birth? How time flies, I guess!

It seems like she was only just starting to show off her baby bump, but earlier this morning Nicole Kidman gave birth to a baby girl. Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, who received both of her parent's last names, weighed in a 6 lbs, 7.5 ounces.

Daddy Keith Urban is looking forward to the wild ride of new parenthood. "The unknown excites me a lot," he said recently. Nicole, of course, is already an experienced mother. She shares parenting duties of Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13 with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Sunday was born in Nashville, where her parents have settled, though she'll also likely spend plenty of time in her mom's native Australia. Nicole was one of those pregnant woman who just glow, and looked so happy in every picture taken of her during her pregnancy. Congratulations to the new family!

Brad Pitt, who starred in tinsel town's The Mexican with Julia Roberts has allegedly contacted his former co-star to ask for some very particular advice. Pitt is due to have twins with partner Angelina Jolie in the impending weeks. Roberts has already tackled that project with twins Hazel and Phinnaeus (who are three if you can believe it!).

According to a "source" (and you know how we feel about "sources"), Brad contacted Julia to ask advice on how to deal with raising twins. The source claims Brad was "frantic," which I find hard to picture, about whether or not the rules or parenting twins are different than parenting a singleton.

The alleged response? No, it's just harder. I don't know if that is true or not--I think it depends on how you look at it. I know several couples who had twins and they've said since they never had kids before (the twins were their first) it wasn't any different or any harder because they had nothing to compare the experience to. Brad and Ange, however, already have a brood going with daughters Shiloh and Zahara and sons Pax and Maddox.

Did you get a "push present" when your babies were born? You know what I mean -- the traditional push present (could we maybe think of a better name for that, please?) is a piece of jewelery; sometimes it is set with the baby's birthstone, but more often, at least where I live, it's a piece that the mama has chosen ahead of time. A really NICE piece, just so we're clear.

But this tops every push present I've ever seen: doting husband and daddy-to-be Keith Urban has reportedly purchased a $73,000 Cartier ring for wife Nicole Kidman. The ring in question is a trinity ring, made of three interlocking bands of pink, yellow, and white gold, representing friendship, love, and fidelity. Kidman's ex, Tom Cruise, bought one for his current wife and baby mama Katie Holmes for Mother's Day. Apparently it's the thing to have if you're a celebrity mom.

Cartier does several variations on the Trinity ring, including this simple one set with diamonds. Almost makes a girl think about getting pregnant again.

Rumor has it that the ring is a surprise for Kidman; hope we're not spoiling it (we doubt it, though).

When Angelina Jolie was admitted to a Nice hospital recently, under observation until her twins are born, the paparazzi went into high alert. Like over-eager puppies, however, they appear to be ready to snap at anything. When a pregnant woman -- an Angelina body double, maybe? -- waved to them from Angelina's hospital room, their shutters clicked and the headlines announced that Angie was "showing off her baby bump."

Only two problems with that scenario. One, Angelina is hardly the type of celebrity to lift up her shirt and bare her belly to photographers. Two, the picture looks nothing like Angelina.

I'm sure that being one of the most famous and most recognizable couples in the world makes it difficult to have a private and intimate birth experience. Rumor has it that Brad and Angelina lied about their August delivery date, and maybe using a stand-in is just one more way to keep the world out of their business while their twins get on with the business of being born.

According to the rumor mill, which has been churning for a while now on this one, actress Naomi Watts is pregnant with her second child. The Aussie is allegedly four months along.

Watts is married to fellow actor Liev Schreiber, with whom she has son Alexander, who will turn one this July. Watts' best friend, Nicole Kidman, is due this year as well, just a few months before Naomi, if the rumors are true. Hey, no time like the present to get moving with making your family. Have all the kids now and then get back to your original shape and all that movie-making business, eh?

Angelina Jolie has been admitted to a Nice hospital (that's Nice the city in France, not nice the adjective, although I assume it IS a pretty nice hospital) to await the birth of her twins. Jolie is reported to have checked in to for "surveillance" rather than because anything is imminently wrong (or even imminently happening). So far, there are no reports of labor, false or otherwise, and hospital spokespeople say that Jolie will not have the babies any time soon.

Jolie and baby daddy Brad Pitt have been living in France with their four children -- we wonder if Brad is home with the kids while Angie is kicking back in the maternity ward? We hope so -- a little R and R would be good for her, and Brad seems like the kind of dad who would have endless fun things planned for the kids. Although they probably have some extra people around to help, which lessens the likelihood that the kids will just eat hot dogs and mac and cheese until their mother comes home.

Joking aside, we hope that Angelina has a safe birth, and that the babies are healthy. And we promise to keep you posted on their arrival.
