Kids deserve art
Where I can, I try to support Mom-based business. In part, it's because I hate the smell of rubber and dirty feet in the massive chain stores...in part because I firmly believe Moms deserve breaks where they can get them.So it was with great pleasure that I stumbled across Kids Deserve Art today, created by the fabulous Haley O of Cheaty Monkey fame. Haley's mission, as she notes on the site, is to bring art into kids lives to cultivate a life-time appreciation for art. While that's noble, the true beauty of Haley's site is the artwork itself. The mostly Mom-made art is funky and colourful and largely whimsical. The prices are reasonable, email Haley for shipping availability.
I love the totes and the mirrors, but some of the paintings are awesome too.

The artwork at the site is so lovely. I thought a lot about kids and art together, and I think that kids always must have an opportunity for their creative development.

i've ordered from Haley before...some artwork and a growth chart. she's amazing to do business with, her prices are great, and the artwork is stunning - even nicer in person!
i highly recommend her!
