Blogging Baby Sleepover for Sunday, October 15: Real Life Edition
Categories: Playground bureau
I had the distinct honor of getting together with some bloggers in person last night, so I thought I'd include y'all in on it, virtually at least. As usual, the garbage can wait. So, we all gathered at the Homesick Home, where L, the host with the most, cheerfully tolerated my gang of hoodlums tearing about her home like it was the running of the bulls in Pamplona. Her kids were there -- Big Son, Daughter, and Little Son -- along with the charming, albeit somewhat shy, Hub.
In from out of town was Granny -- Ann Adams, in the list of frequent contributors over on the right there -- of Roc Rebel Granny. She took the train in for a well-deserved break from her three girls who are well on their way to being teenagers. She was her usual charming self. We picked her up at the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station and headed over to L's.
There was lots of talk about many subjects -- kids, men, make up (aka, the good, the bad, and the ugly?) -- as you might expect when a bunch of mommy bloggers get together. Long story short, a good time was, I think, had by all. If you have a chance to meet up with fellow bloggers from your area, I heartily recommend it!

Nice post Roger and thanks. It's not quite 10 p.m. here and I've been home for about 30 minutes or so.
We did have a good time, didn't we.

Oh, Roger, if your wife wasn't so swell, I'd be swooning and crushing on you meag-major--YOU SAID I HAD NICE HAIR. Which is basically the nicest thing anyone could say about me EVER. But I have more to say about you and The Missus, so I won't blather on and on here. But thanks for the compliment and for thinking I was a famous blogger--ha ha!

Sorry about Hub`s vanishing act --- oh well. I won`t apologize for him, since there`s not much I can say.
And I think my hoodlums top Roger`s hoodlums for domestic hooliganism any day!
